About the Role

As a Electrical Facility Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of critical systems within a high-availability data centre environment. You will lead shift operations, supervise contractors, manage incidents, and ensure all maintenance activities meet strict operational, safety, and compliance standards.

Location: Netherlands

Employment Type: Full-time.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure safe operation and maintenance of critical electrical and facility systems

  • Oversee planned preventive maintenance and reactive works

  • Review and validate contractor reports and technical documentation

  • Take ownership of incidents and lead resolution efforts

  • Act as Incident Manager when required, including reporting to stakeholders

  • Escalate technical or operational risks appropriately

  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations and internal policies

  • Conduct audits and report non-compliance

  • Support ISO standards and regulatory compliance initiatives

  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers

  • Represent the company during client interactions and site visits

Who You Are

Must-Have Requirements

  • Experience in 24/7 critical environments (Data centres, telecoms, power, industrial, etc.)

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, cooling, fire systems, and power infrastructure

  • Background as a Technician, Supervisor, or Shift Lead

  • Experience managing contractors and external vendors

  • Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance workflows

  • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluent in English

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ISO standards .

  • Previous data centre experience

  • Experience in incident management and escalation processes
