The Electrical Estimator (Commercial) is responsible for assessing project timelines, researching market prices for materials and equipment, and communicating with clients to define project scopes. The role also focuses on improving cost-estimating procedures to minimize discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
Electrical estimators are typically assigned to a primary product line (commercial, multi-family, or residential) where they will perform the majority of their work. Employees may occasionally be assigned to work on projects outside of their primary product line to support operational needs, workforce planning, and project scheduling. Temporary changes in assignments do not constitute a change in job title or classification.
