
A rapidly growing clean-energy engineering business is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Team Manager to lead a specialist team delivering industrial electrical design and project support.
The role combines hands-on technical work with line management, ensuring high-quality, compliant electrical solutions across R&D and live projects.

Electrical Engineering Manager
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor and allocate resources within the Electrical Engineering team
Ensure engineering quality, safety and compliance across all deliverables
Define system-level electrical architectures and produce schematics & documentation
Specify electrical components and generate manufacturing packages
Support integration, commissioning, and fault-finding activities
Contribute to safety reviews (HAZOP, FMEA, SIL etc.)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and present to stakeholders
Electrical Engineering Manager
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Strong industrial electrical design experience (control panels, wiring, instrumentation)
Knowledge of BS7671:2018 & EN 60204
Functional safety experience (EN 61511)
PLC systems – ideally Siemens
ATEX experience beneficial
Hands-on testing and problem-solving ability
Able to travel internationally when required
