Electrical Engineering Manager

Location: Melbourne, VIC

Our client is a global leader in digital infrastructure, currently expanding its footprint in the Australian market with a growing portfolio of hyperscale data centre assets. Known for delivering operational excellence, cutting-edge design, and long-term investment in mission-critical facilities, the organisation is at the forefront of the regions data centre growth.

About the Role:

As Electrical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of electrical systems across a large, hyperscale data centre facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain oversight of HV/LV systems, UPS, switchgear, and generators.

  • Perform root cause analysis and drive technical resolution for incidents.

  • Develop and refine electrical operation and maintenance procedures.

  • Participate in system upgrades and commissioning.

  • Ensure systems are compliant with all relevant codes and standards.

  • Act as a liaison between engineering, vendors, and operational teams.

Requirements:

  • Advanced qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in critical environments with complex power systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian electrical regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with SCADA, EPMS, or similar tools.
  • Strong technical communication and risk assessment skills.
