
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement engineering design procedures and plans to ensure accurate, timely delivery of tasks by the
electrical design team.
Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, overseeing design services to meet project deadlines and quality
standards.
Ensure consistency of electrical designs with project specifications, codes, and established design criteria throughout
project execution.
Manage design scope development and support the tendering process, including the selection and oversight of design
consultants and third-party reviewers.
Lead and participate in Value Engineering (VE), constructability reviews, and other design workshops to optimize
electrical system design.
Maintain communication with the Project Management Team on all field-driven design changes and ensure timely
processing of contract modifications.
Monitor workload distribution, track project progress, and prepare regular reports for senior management and clients.
Act as the primary liaison with design consultants to resolve design issues and ensure coordination with construction
teams.
Collaborate closely with clients to communicate and resolve ongoing design and construction challenges
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of project drawings, specifications, contractual documents, and construction
timelines for electrical works.

REQUIRED SKILLS
· Strong understanding of local and international electrical codes and standards (e.g.,
NEC, IEC, BS).
· Proficient in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), and electrical load
calculation software (e.g., ETAP, Dialux, etc.).
· Expertise in preparing design briefs, design management plans, and reviewing
consultant deliverables.
· Experience with design coordination, interdisciplinary integration, and
constructability considerations.
· Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to design issues.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
