Advanced Development Programs is seeking an Aircraft Electrical System Engineer to support the design, integration, and validation of complex electrical power generation and distribution systems. In this role, you will develop of wiring architectures, system schematics, and components while ensuring strict compliance with aviation certification standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical challenges throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate possesses mid-level experience in aerospace electrical systems, understanding of specialized CAD tools, and strong technical capabilities.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or other relevant engineering discipline
• 3+ years of aircraft electrical system design experience
• Experience defining and understanding aircraft electrical architectures
• Experience with primary and secondary distribution networks, bus architectures, and circuit protection

Desired Skills

• Understanding of analysis techniques to optimize system capacity under all conditions
• Experience in sizing, integrating, and testing starter-generators, alternators, or auxiliary power units
• Previous experience using Siemens Capital for automated harness design
• Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-516 (or civilian equivalents) electrical system safety guidelines
• Active security clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
