SCOPE:
The Electrical Engineer, QA & QC will support the execution of quality assurance and quality control activities across Data Center & Energy Management related products under Mitsubishi Heavy Industries product lines in North America. This role is responsible for ensuring electrical systems and components meet design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements across the full lifecycle, including design validation, supplier manufacturing, installation, and commissioning. The Engineer will work closely with electrical engineering teams, suppliers, and field personnel to implement QA/QC processes, verify system performance, conduct inspections and testing, and support issue resolution. This role also ensures full compliance with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. QA/QC processes and procedures, as well as applicable North American codes and standards. This position collaborates with global stakeholders across Japan and the U.S. to align priorities, enable effective execution, and support MHIA’s long-term business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have at least seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in electrical engineering, QA/QC, supplier or manufacturing quality, or related technical environments within industrial, energy, or data center-related industries.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
o Experience in data center infrastructure, power generation systems, or mission-critical power systems
o Experience with switchgear, UPS systems, generators, DC power systems, or microgrid/distributed energy solutions
o Experience with FAT/SAT, commissioning, and site electrical QA
o Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, 8D, CAPA, etc.)
o Experience working in global teams, especially Japan–U.S. collaboration
o Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus
