As a Marine Electrical Engineer, you will be a significant key to the function of our Quantum Maritime Engineering Team.
Based in Rostock, you’ll collaborate with a growing team of engineers, mechanics, and leaders. As an Electrical Engineer, your role is to drive a Systems Engineering process for all electrical system definition, wiring, and outfitting, as well as sensor integration within our USVs and UUVs.
You will work closely with your colleagues from mechanical engineering as well as with the stakeholders from the central hardware and software development to integrate the core technology of Quantum Systems in the maritime products. With the implementation of a production-ready design, you will support Quantum Systems in its mission to become the benchmark for sea and underwater data collection solutions with unmanned surface vessels (USV) and unmanned underwater vessels (UUV).
Quantum Systems delivers next-generation unmanned solutions across air, land, and sea. From advanced aerial drones to underwater and ground platforms, our systems combine cutting-edge hardware with AI-driven software for seamless control and real-time data insights. Trusted by defense, security, and public sector clients worldwide, we redefine mission versatility and performance.

Quantum Systems is a leading European deep-tech company specialising in unmanned systems. We develop, produce, and scale integrated hardware, software, and AI solutions that are operational across air, ground, and sea today.
Headquartered near Munich and operating globally, we build all core technologies in-house: platforms, mission software, and AI-driven analytics. This stands for technological excellence, scalability, and European sovereignty.
Armed forces, security agencies, and critical infrastructure operators rely on our systems when situational awareness and speed of decision-making define the outcome.
What we build is already in the field. What we're building next will redefine the category.
We're looking for people who want their work deployed, not presented. Who believe sovereignty is something you engineer, not something you declare.
