Fair-Rite is looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking Electrical Engineer as our Electrical Lab Team Leader to guide our Electrical Lab into its next era of innovation. Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

You’ll own the performance, development, and daily operation of the Electrical Lab, including:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a skilled electrical testing team

  • Ensure team members are fully trained on equipment, procedures, and safety

  • Develop and refine test methods, specifications, and equipment

  • Oversee electrical testing to ensure compliance with functional specs and customer requirements

  • Analyze test data and prepare reports for Engineering, Quality, R&D, and Production

  • Evaluate new materials and purchased components, providing technical feedback

  • Support automated data acquisition systems for electrical and dimensional testing

  • Troubleshoot problem parts and recommend product disposition

  • Conduct annual performance reviews and participate in hiring

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Sales, Marketing, and R&D

  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, Quality, and Environmental standards

Qualifications

What You Bring:

We’re looking for a leader who combines technical depth with strong communication and coaching skills.

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

  • 1–2 years of hands-on engineering or lab experience

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated leadership and team development

  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability

  • Experience with electrical and mechanical test equipment (LCR meters, Q-meters, impedance analyzers, oscilloscopes, calipers, micrometers, etc.)

  • Proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word, and CMS/EMS systems

  • Ability to interpret specifications and engineering drawings

  • SPC, DOE, and capability analysis experience

  • Dependable, accurate, and self-driven with strong organizational skills
