Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a major water infrastructure project based in Cork. This is a long term position offering strong project continuity across large scale water and wastewater developments.
Responsibilities
• Deliver electrical design packages in line with project specifications and water industry standards
• Review and coordinate electrical drawings, schematics and technical submittals
• Support installation works on site, ensuring compliance with design intent
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil and process engineers
• Attend site meetings and provide technical input to resolve design or installation issues
• Monitor quality of electrical installations and ensure adherence to QA procedures
• Support commissioning activities and handover documentation
• Ensure compliance with Irish regulations and relevant industry standards
• Assist with programme tracking and reporting of electrical progress
Requirements
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical design and site installation
• Experience on water, wastewater, utilities or industrial infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards and compliance requirements
• Ability to review technical drawings and specifications confidently
• Full working rights in Ireland
