We have an immediate need for a Electrical Engineer for either our Buffalo or Rochester location.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

Responsibilities

of Duties: Lead electrical design projects for commercial and municipal clients including facilities assessments and with a focus on higher ed and office/municipal buildings

  • Responsibilities:
    • Lead engineer in designing, analyzing, and developing electrical systems for commercial, residential and industrial projects.
    • Collaborate with senior engineers to create electrical plans, specifications, and calculations.
    • Producing contract drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
    • Conduct field visits to record existing conditions, assess project progress, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
    • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
    • Participate in project meetings, providing insights and recommendations to design solutions.
    • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering power design.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
    • 5-10 years of experience
    • Strong Understanding of electrical systems and codes
    • Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft products, and electrical design tools.
    • Capability to work on multiple projects.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of electrical engineering.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
    • Ability to mentor junior level electrical engineers.
    • Ability to work independently with general instructions/guidance from project manager and produce the expected results.
    • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure.

-Compensation: Minimum: $100,000: $125,000 annual. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates’ qualifications and location.
