We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical team in Dunedin. You’ll collaborate closely with our national electrical team, contribute to local water and process projects, and support work across the industrial and bitumen sectors.

Mō te tūranga | About the role

A key focus of the position is developing strong professional relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and contractors. You’ll also play an important role in supporting and delivering plant automation upgrades that improve operational efficiency, reliability, and performance.

  • Supporting the design and delivery of electrical engineering solutions
  • Assisting with plant automation upgrades
  • Supporting project planning and coordination activities
  • Preparing estimates and quotations
  • Participating in site work and commissioning activities
  • Ensuring safety, quality, and compliance standards are met
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, or relevant electrical engineering experience
  • An interest in automation systems and process control
  • Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
