Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing Substation projects from initiation to completion. The role requires technical expertise in electrical engineering, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure timely delivery within budget while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead, plan, and manage end-to-end execution of solar project sites.
Supervise project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure profitability.
Prepare and present regular project status reports to management.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and operations.
Candidate profile:
NVQ Level 5/6 or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 05 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent or minimum 10 years of relevant experience with NVQ Level 5/6 qualification.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple projects simultaneously.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
