Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • According to the electrical specification design with drawings and schematics.
  • Advanced PLC, HMI, integration and automation per project need.
  • Follow industry standards and ensure safe designs & meet applicable industry safety requirements
  • Manage design changes, customer engineering special (CES), work with manufacturing engineers to create SOP and engineering change order (ECO)
  • Establish a continuous improvement on existing production system controls and develop cost-effective system controls for new developments.
  • Able to travel to customer sites to support field team on NPI tool installation
  • Supervise onsite electrical installation, troubleshooting, startup, testing, maintain quality work standard and meet target installation schedule
  • Establish good communication, coordination, and follow-up ability with suppliers and vendors

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in automation, system control and electrical integration, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation equipment design.
  • Proficient with PCB design is a plus
  • Proficient with Industry fieldbus communication (EtherCAT, Modbus, CClink)
  • Proficient with electrical schematics and cable design with 2D CAD/Solidwork Electrical / Zuken software
  • Strong teamwork spirit, hands-on, self-motivated person
  • Fluent in English both reading and written
  • Able to work in a high-paced and aggressive environment
  • Familiar with Office software (MS Word, Power Point and Excel)
