  • Conduct R&D and testing of new EV charging hardware.
  • Analyse energy consumption data and model impacts of BESS and EV charging.

Infrastructure & System Design:

  • Plan EV charging infrastructure for existing and greenfield sites.
  • Perform electrical load calculations and apply load‑management techniques.
  • Design and document site cabling, power management and electrical layouts.
  • Support generator placement, renewable energy system integration, and smart‑grid applications.

Electrical Compliance:

  • Provide guidance on compliance requirements and international testing standards.
  • Develop and maintain local compliance documentation for new products.

About You

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (essential).
  • Registered Electrician (highly desirable).
  • Minimum 3 years of electrical engineering experience, ideally within building services or similar fields.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for electrical drawings.
  • Experience with tools for electrical load assessment and system modelling.
  • Strong understanding of AS/NZS standards and wiring rules.
  • Proficient in utilising Excel to perform and analyse energy calculations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem‑solving and documentation skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative, “can‑do” attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide constructive advice, listen effectively, and work collaboratively.

If you meet all of the above, we’ll love to hear from you!
