Electrical Engineer (Project Manager) to join their exceptional team and work

The Role

We are seeking
an experienced and motivated Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee the
delivery of electrical engineering services from concept through construction.
This is a client facing role where leadership, technical expertise, and
attention to detail converge.

As a key member
of our project delivery team, you will manage multiple projects concurrently,
working closely with architects, developers, owners, and multidisciplinary
teams to ensure electrical systems are designed to meet performance, budget,
and schedule objectives.

Responsibilities

• 
  Lead the
  planning, coordination, and execution of electrical engineering design for new
  construction and major renovation projects.
• 
  Oversee all
  phases of project delivery—from conceptual design and feasibility through
  construction documents, tendering, and site review.
• 
  Serve as the
  primary point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment on scope, schedule,
  budget, and quality.
• 
  Manage internal
  design teams and external consultants, allocating resources and monitoring
  performance.
• 
  Review and
  stamp electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations in accordance with
  applicable codes and standards.
• 
  Participate in
  value engineering, energy-efficiency planning, and risk assessments.
• 
  Conduct site
  reviews, respond to RFIs, and manage change orders during construction.
• 
  Mentor junior
  engineers and designers, fostering a culture of technical growth and quality.

Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor’s
  Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 
  Licensed
  Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta, or eligibility for licensure.
• 
  5-15 years of
  progressive experience in electrical consulting, with demonstrated project
  management experience.
• 
  Proven track
  record delivering building electrical systems (lighting, power, fire alarm,
  life safety, security, and communication systems).
• 
  Strong
  knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, building codes, and relevant
  industry standards.
• 
  Exceptional
  communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• 
  Proficient in
  design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Etap, Dialux, Bluebeam, etc.).
•
