Job Description

This is a Electronics & Electrical Engineer which requires a high level of creativity and originality and initiative in accomplishing assignments. Can work independently whenever necessary, to improve the quality of suppliers' piece-parts in the area of responsibility. Identifies and evaluates alternative materials or suppliers to maintain competitive quality, assurance of supply and/or pricing of piece-parts. Provide technical support for NPI (New Product Introduction) & Product Transfer. Assists manufacturing in resolving material related issues, and also provide technical guidance to less experienced Engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Provides technical support in terms of specification interpretation, adequacy of existing documentation, disposition of non-conforming materials, and training on the usage of all inspection measuring equipment.
• Identifies and plans for inspection and test requirements needed for adequate assessment of the quality of incoming piece-parts.
• Analyzes inspection, evaluation and test data. Feedback quality performance and follow-up on quality issues with suppliers.
• Active involvement in quality improvement program with suppliers.
• Leads in sourcing for substitute/ alternative materials to achieve cost savings, ensuring assurance of supply and / or improve quality of piece-parts.
• Assists manufacturing in evaluating material related issues to ensure correct disposition of non-conformance materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical & Engineering, Materials Engineering Sciences with minimum 3-5 years related experience.
• Excellent communication skills and able to work with all levels.
• Flexible in switching roles, responsibility & new task when needed.
• A desire to work under aggressive deadlines, fast paced & collaborate environment.
• Resourcefulness, attention to details, demonstrate sound analysis skill and offering solutions.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
