Job Description

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an Electrical CAD Draughtsperson to join our client's team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and supporting the design and execution of electrical building services projects. The role involves working closely with engineers, project managers, procurement teams, and site personnel to ensure the successful delivery of projects from the design stage through to completion.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings and technical documentation using CAD software
• Assist in the design and development of power distribution, lighting, ELV, and building services systems
• Perform material take-offs and support procurement activities for project requirements
• Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and project submissions
• Support site teams by providing technical clarification and interpretation of electrical drawings

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software
• Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills in English and ability to work effectively within a team environment

Additional Information:

• Full-time position
• Based primarily at the company's offices
• Occasional visits to project sites and client premises may be required
• Exposure to a wide range of electrical and building services projects throughout Malta and Gozo
