We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Drafter / Modeler with hands-on experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit and a strong background in electrical systems. This role is responsible for producing accurate electrical drawings and 3D models for commercial and/or industrial projects, supporting engineers and project teams throughout the design and construction process.
Create and modify electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD and/or Revit
Develop 2D plans and 3D BIM models for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and redlines to produce construction-ready documents
Coordinate with electrical engineers, project managers, and other trades (mechanical, plumbing, etc.) to ensure clash-free designs
Update drawings based on design changes, RFIs, and field conditions
Assist with panel schedules, load calculations, and circuiting documentation
Maintain drawing standards, file organization, and version control
Participate in coordination meetings and contribute to BIM coordination efforts
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
