Capgemini Engineering is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Electrical Designer to join our growing team.
In this role, you will act as a technical interface between external suppliers and the internal engineering team, translating electrical design documentation into fully standardized, audit-ready documentation.
In this role, you will play a key part in:
Reviewing, redrawing, and standardizing electrical design packages from external suppliers, including single-line diagrams, switchboard schematics, wiring diagrams, and I/O lists, using EPLAN Electric P8.
Converting legacy drawings (AutoCAD, PDF, and scanned files) into fully functional, intelligent EPLAN projects in accordance with approved templates, symbol libraries, and naming conventions.
Ensuring that all electrical documentation complies with industry standards such as IEC 60204-1, IEC 61439, and IEC 81346, as well as GxP regulations and internal engineering standards.
Contributing to the reduction of the electrical design backlog for production lines, utilities, process installations, and automation cabinets, while maintaining full traceability and version control.
Collaborating with electrical engineers, automation and controls engineers, and validation teams to identify recurring supplier design issues and propose standardization improvements.
