Responsibilities
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
- Prepare conceptual, FEED, and detailed installation drawings that are technically sound and constructible.
- Develop 3D models and coordinate across disciplines to ensure clash-free designs.
- Deliver all design outputs in line with project specifications and timelines.
- Apply technical expertise to execute discipline-specific tasks efficiently, leveraging AI/automation where possible.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage work to meet project deadlines.
- Understand contract scope, specifications, schedules, and inter-discipline requirements; proactively resolve issues.
- Identify scope changes and raise change notifications with supporting documentation and estimates.
- Collaborate across disciplines to gather comprehensive inputs, ensuring seamless, integrated, and clash-free electrical design solutions.
- Raise technical queries to address information gaps and ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
- Support finalization of deliverables, design philosophies, and compliance with project specifications.
- Attend project meetings (kick-off, design reviews, vendor/supplier discussions) as required.
- Align with client standards and prepare project-specific design procedures for approval.
- Maintain discipline documentation, drawings, and final archives.
- Prepare/review bills of materials and perform electrical material take-offs.
- Participate in clash detection and resolution activities.
- Prepare and review key electrical deliverables including: 3D models, single-line diagrams, earthing & lightning protection, substations (plans/sections/elevations), lighting layouts & calculations, site plans, schematics, interconnection/wiring diagrams, block diagrams, area classification drawings, cable/conduit layouts & schedules, tray/support drawings, and wire/conduit sizing.
Qualifications
Qualification
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering field is required. Additional certifications or previous working experience with Revit is required.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience, including exposure to U.S. projects.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70 is a plus.
- Industrial / manufacturing facility / commercial / Data center buildings exposure required.
- The ability to communicate digitally, verbally and in writing with local and international team members - fluency in English is required.
- Must be adaptable to work during evening hours to ensure communication with stakeholders in the USA.
