Electrical designer

Your role:

• Contribute in designing, integrating, verifying and compliance testing of electrical components and subsystems for new and/or modified product configurations.

• Defining requirements and guiding suppliers in creating the right products.

• Analyzing and solving life-cycle management issues.

• The electrical view on development in an agile scrum team of each up to 10 members.

• Together with the product owner, creating the best overall electrical design solution.

Especially for electronics, we create products and solve problems in close cooperation with external suppliers. While we are responsible for the electrical subsystem design, the (detailed) components design is done by the suppliers. Besides with suppliers, we collaborate closely with other multidisciplinary teams and the cluster of system design, to come to our final system architecture, design & implementation. To ensure we add value to our customers, we maintain close collaboration with application specialists who voice our customer’s needs.

You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:

• Master’s degree in Electronics and minimally 5 years of experience in the industry.

• High drive for quality and safety. DfSS skills are preferred.

• Experience collaboration with and guiding suppliers.

• Drive for continuous improvement.

• Flexible and open attitude, good communication skills in English.

• Experience of working in large cross-functional agile teams.

How we work together
