We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer Schematic - COMOS, Eplan

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Preparation of detailed electrical engineering drawings (Schematic / Control wiring drawings) of electrical systems and components with the CAE-tool COMOS and compilation of complete circuit manuals incl. overviews, bill of materials, etc.
  • The candidate must have experience in designing schematic drawings for HV and LV equipment.
  • Understanding of engineering and design of Traction Power Supply substations for Rail Electrification systems.
  • Performing task with quality of electrical drawings and documentation
  • Working as part of a team to ensure technical documentation is produced for major projects
  • Clarification on work packages with Siemens’ internal departments and partners
  • Able to perform under tight schedules and deadlines with minimum supervision.

You’ll win us over by:

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Knowledge of CAE, Electrical CAD, EPLAN tools and standard office software
  • Knowledge of creation of electrical drawings
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering
  • Knowledge of relevant European, International and American Standards
  • Knowledge of engineering processes
  • Good in English language.

Desirable

  • Experience in COMOS program / ELCAD / EPLAN or equivalent.
  • Experience in electrical and control design in DC / LV/MV switchgear.
  • Experience in project work, preferably in an international project environment...
