Job Purpose

To prepare and support engineering designs, drawings, and material documentation for assigned projects while coordinating with production and related teams to ensure timely, accurate, and technically compliant project execution.

Key Accountability Areas

Preparation and Initial Planning:

• Prepare and maintain job files in accordance with department filing procedures.
• Review contractual documents and customer specifications received from the launch meeting.
• Support identification of technical requirements and project specifications.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and supervisors regarding project schedules and priorities.
• Assist in identifying requirements for additional drafting or technical support when needed.

Design and Drawing Processes:

• Prepare and update engineering drawings using approved design software.
• Apply standardized engineering solutions and approved design practices.
• Ensure drawings comply with standard formats, symbols, and technical requirements.
• Submit assigned drawings within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with CAD operators to support preparation of panel layouts, one-line diagrams, civil guides, and schematic drawings.
• Revise drawings based on technical comments and project updates.

Material Management:

• Prepare and review Bills of Materials (BOMs) for assigned projects.
• Support timely issuance of material requirements in coordination with planning and procurement teams.
• Verify material selections to ensure technical compliance and efficient material utilization.
• Assist in utilizing approved stock materials whenever applicable.

Production and Quality Support:

• Release approved drawings to production teams as per project schedules.
• Provide technical clarification and support during manufacturing and assembly activities.
• Support resolution of technical issues identified during production and inspection activities.
• Update drawings and documentation to reflect approved as-built changes.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all applicable safety procedures, engineering standards, and company policies.
• Ensure assigned engineering activities comply with quality and technical requirements.

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

• Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Any relevant field
