Join us in shaping the next generation of power conversion solutions. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing wiring harness architectures and selecting electrical components that help bring innovative products from concept to reality.

Working in our Product Development organization in Vaasa, Finland you will turn system requirements into reliable, manufacturable, and cost-effective designs that support product performance, quality, and customer value.

You will collaborate with colleagues across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and testing, helping to deliver solutions that advance electrification and energy efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design wiring harness architectures and interconnection solutions that support reliable and efficient product performance.
• Specify electrical and electro-mechanical components that meet technical, quality, and cost requirements.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, technical specifications, and product release data that enable smooth development and manufacturing.
• Collaborate across disciplines to evaluate concepts, solve design challenges, and deliver well-integrated product solutions.
• Support prototyping, testing, and industrialization activities to help bring new products successfully to market.

What We're Looking For

• Experience with electrical design, wiring harness design, electro-mechanical components, or industrial product development.
• Knowledge of electrical components, interconnection technologies, and engineering documentation practices.
• Familiarity with engineering tools such as EPLAN, Siemens NX Routing, SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, Capital, Teamcenter, SAP, or similar solutions.
• Ability to plan and execute design tasks independently while working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Clear communication skills in English and a structured approach to problem-solving.
