Your Role
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will contribute to the delivery of impactful projects supporting Aurecon’s Queensland Industrial business. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you’ll apply your technical skills to develop practical, high-quality solutions for our clients while continuing to grow your expertise.
What You’ll Be Doing
Based in Gladstone, you will play a key role in delivering projects for both local and national clients across the industrial sector.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering electrical design solutions across a range of projects
Supporting power system modelling and analysis
Producing detailed design documentation and deliverables
Contributing to multi-disciplinary project teams
Assisting with project coordination, including tracking progress and budgets
Applying relevant standards, client specifications, and best practices
Continuously developing your technical capability across areas such as HV/LV systems, instrumentation and control
What You’ll Bring
You’re an emerging engineer who is technically capable, eager to learn, and motivated to build your career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
We’re looking for:
3–5 years’ experience in electrical design, ideally within industrial or infrastructure projects
Exposure to power systems, HV/LV design, and/or control systems
Ability to apply standards and client specifications to design work
Strong communication skills and an ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and grow
