Job Description

The candidate is responsible for preparing and reviewing GA, SLD, layouts, schematics, cable size calculations, cable schedule, cable tray layouts, lighting calculation for electrical technical building / E-house line of business e.g. MV / LV switchgears, AC & DC UPS, Variable Frequency Drives, soft starter, Power and Dist. Transformers.

1. Primary Function and Over all purpose of position

• Responsible for reviewing and preparing engineering documentations for electrical
• package with help of OEM as per customer PO, RFQ, international standards.
• Roll & Responsibility
• To review and support OEM to prepare electrical equipment design as per contract
• To obtain approval from main contractor, consultants, end user
• To ensure timely submission of deliverables, with quality
• To demonstrate value engineering, technical analysis and to implement
• engineering optimizations to improve profitability
• To ensure smooth FAT at OEM factory and IFAT at TMAK yard
• To support in OEM / TMAK punch point closure
• To prepare as built drawings, post IFAT.
• To support site activities during SAT
• To provide timely reporting to project manager, highlighting technical risks (if any) in the project
• To build drawing library to improve efficiency
• To establish deep engagement with customer to improve customer experience
• To have do more and result oriented approach
• To support estimation team to prepare fit to purpose and optimal technical
• solutions for electrical packages, meeting customer RFQ.
• Take full ownership for design and to extend support project team to deliver project on time.

1. Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience of 10 years in similar position
• Detailed knowledge of MV GIS/AIS, PMCC/MCC LV switchgear, AC & DC UPS,
• Transformers, Variable frequency drives, soft starters, DB
• Solution and customer centric approach
• Products of competition
• Engineering, calculation and manufacturing methods
• Intercultural knowledge and experience
• Procedures, company rules, guidelines (national and international), law, rules & regulations, standards, safety, quality and environmental guidelines as far as applicable
