Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience working with ADDC standards and should be able to join our team immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for various projects in accordance with ADDC standards
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations for electrical systems
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary data for design and installation
- Collaborate with other engineers and team members to ensure successful project completion
- Review and analyze technical drawings and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients
- Stay updated with industry developments and advancements in electrical design
- Ensure all designs are in compliance with safety regulations and codes
- Prepare project cost estimates and budgets
- Attend project meetings and provide progress reports to clients and management
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the design and installation process
- Mentor and train junior engineers and team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of ADDC standards and regulations
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
