Our award-winning client is seeking a Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the northeastern and mid-Atlantic regions. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented group and contribute to the development of innovative electrical and mechanical systems for a diverse range of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design lighting and power systems for a variety of building projects (education, government, retail, etc.).

• Leverage your expertise to contribute significantly to the development of both electrical and mechanical systems.

• Apply your knowledge of LEED certification practices for sustainable design solutions.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure project success.

Required Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of experience designing lighting and power systems for buildings.

• Strong understanding of electrical and fundamental mechanical systems.

• A desire to take on a more prominent role in shaping mechanical system designs.

• A PE license or the willingness to pursue one.

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (electrical design focus).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit experience a plus.

• Experience in designing electrical systems for various projects (education, government, retail, etc.)

• Knowledge of LEED certification practices (LEED accreditation is a benefit)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• A passion for sustainability and problem-solving.

• The ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• A valid US driver's license.

• Physical fitness to navigate job sites (climbing ladders, stairs, etc.)
