This position will collaborate with multiple departments and project teams toprovide materials to Electrical Field Installation crews Candidate must be a self-directed highly motivated professional that can multitask and workwithinan ever-changingprojectschedule.

Must befamiliarwith the electricalnomenclature andconcepts

  • Knowledge must be of electricalcomponents

  • Excellent communication is essential for project execution and troubleshooting issues

  • Must be able to work independentlyand with a sense of urgency specifically where design changesand project schedule changesare involved

Oversee all electrical/controls materials at the warehouse. 

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

               Receiving shipments from vendors:

  • Inspecting and verifying count against shipping documents

  • Barcode components usingAutoDesk ACCwhich includes usingACC, locating the decoder tracker #, applying the barcode, taking and uploading photos toACC

  • Consolidate by project and kit number for rapid deployment to the field based on project installation sequence.

               Receiving shipments of returned goods from projects:

  • Vetting the parts for quality and if they meet specifications

  • Barcode components usingACCwhich includes usingACC, locating the decoder tracker #, applying the barcode, taking and uploading photos toACC

Shipping electrical Materials to project sites:

  • Via pull ticket data, pull parts as demanded by theproject schedule(qty and onsite date)

  • Stage parts for shipment which include repackaging (if necessary) and stretch wrapping for shipment.

  • Work with Transportation to schedule the transportation of the electrical components to the project sites.

Capable of managinga small crew (1-2 people)

  • Crew may flex in size and could be full time, temp or contract labor

  • Direct the crews workload to focus on project deliverables and due on-site dates.

  • Enforce, create and/or revise work processes

  • Lead by example to meet or exceed safety protocolsfor the team

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across multiple departments

  • Prepare and update KPI’s to track performance

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software, with special emphasis on Excel

  • Have familiarity with ERP and/or WMS environments

  • Familiarity with Sharepoint or similar software

  • Ability to operate a 6000lb forkliftand achieve company issued operators license

  • Must have3years of experiencewith material management (electrical is a plus)

  • Bilingual preferred; at a minimum, the ability to understand and to make oneself understood to all Spanish speaking individuals.

  • Ability tounderstandelectricalnomenclature
