Job Description

TEiC is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee the field execution of industrial electrical construction, maintenance, and outage projects. This role is responsible for leading jobsite operations, coordinating craft personnel and subcontractors, ensuring safe work practices, maintaining quality standards, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

As a key field leader, you will be responsible for driving project performance while maintaining strong customer relationships and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

This is a traveling project-based superintendent role. During active projects you'll be working full project schedules. Between assignments, you'll remain employed and work remotely under our standby arrangement.

What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day field execution of industrial electrical construction, maintenance, and service projects.
  • Develop and execute project work plans that align with project goals, schedules, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate labor, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to craft personnel and field teams.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, company, and regulatory safety requirements.
  • Monitor project costs, productivity, and financial performance while minimizing project risk.
  • Maintain quality standards through inspections, work verification, and corrective action efforts.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers, building trust and ensuring exceptional service.
  • Resolve project challenges proactively and make critical field decisions to keep projects moving forward.

Requirements

  • Five plus years of experience in electrical services, industrial construction, power generation, maintenance, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and applicable safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced field environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and project teams.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products for project reporting and documentation.
