About this role
Carrier Electronics is seeking an Electrical/Computer Engineer Co-Op to support their Engineering Teams in Syracuse, NY. This position will involve assisting in developing, testing, and debugging embedded electronic controls. Carrier Electronics designs, develops, and manufactures global control solutions for the HVAC, refrigeration, and related markets. Carrier Electronics is seeking an Electrical/Computer Engineer Intern to support their Engineering Teams in Syracuse, NY. This full time Co-Op will run January through August.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in developing, testing, and debugging embedded electronic controls.
Required Qualifications
Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
3.0 or higher GPA
Applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication, computer, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
Self-motivated, work independently, and be able to follow directions well.
Candidate must have a general knowledge of microprocessors/microcontrollers with a solid understanding of digital and analog theory.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment is essential to succeed in this position.
