The Electrical Commissioning Engineer plays a key role in the acceptance phase of projects, ensuring electrical systems are installed, tested, validated, and documented in line with approved procedures and project requirements. This position involves hands-on commissioning activities, troubleshooting, and supporting the successful completion of electrical systems for mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Execute electrical commissioning activities including testing, validation, and documentation.
• Perform technical reviews of electrical designs and develop test scripts.
• Conduct functional and performance tests on electrical equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, isolation procedures, and LOTO protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for commissioning progress and results.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment and timely completion of tasks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
• Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, commissioning processes, and safety standards.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and execute test procedures.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities within multidisciplinary teams.

Education / Licenses / Certifications:

• QQI Level 6 Advanced Trade Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
