We are seeking an Electrical BIM Technician to join a collaborative team supporting the design and development of building systems for a variety of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys producing high-quality technical drawings while working alongside experienced design and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and revise electrical layouts using Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards.
Create accurate 2D drawings and construction documentation from project requirements.
Coordinate drawing updates with project team members to maintain current design information.
Review and organize print drawings while supporting document control throughout the design process.
Assist with project documentation and drawing management using project collaboration platforms.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a BIM or CAD Technician supporting electrical design projects.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience using Bluebeam and Procore for document review and project coordination.
Background working within the MEP industry.
Understanding of electrical drafting standards and construction documentation.
Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical documents.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent drafting experience preferred.
