Job Description

The Electrical Assembler working under limited supervision, assembles instrument components and sub-components, electro-mechanical and hydraulic well logging assemblies and sub-assemblies, or electronic hybrid circuits.

  • Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00/hour, depending on experience.
  • Assignment Length: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
  • Shift Details: Monday - Friday | 8-hours | Some Overtime

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret detailed schematics, engineering drawings, wiring schematics, etc.
  • Utilizing high or low temperature soldering processes, fitting/mounting, alignment, adjusting, operational testing, and performing repairs.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Skills typically acquired through 5 years of related assembly experience.
  • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting, both electrical and simple mechanical structures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficiency in light soldering for wires and circuit boards.
  • Capable of performing basic electrical and simple mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to complete tasks successfully with minimal supervision.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly punctual and dependable.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
