About the Role

As an Electrical Apprentice with ABB, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work alongside qualified Electricians and Electrical Engineers
  • Gain hands-on experience with ABB’s world-class drives product range
  • Assist with workshop repairs, maintenance, and quotations
  • Diagnose faults in electronic drive systems
  • Support electricians in setting up and commissioning drives
  • Undertake local—and occasionally interstate—onsite work (aligned with TAFE commitments)
  • Be part of a small, friendly, and welcoming team that invests in your growth

To be successful, you will need a strong understanding of electrical fundamentals and have completed all required wiring hours. Please upload your academic transcript with your application.

Requirements

  • Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • Manual licence preferred but not essential
  • Completion of your 1st year + all wiring hours
  • Willingness to complete basic aptitude testing as part of the recruitment process
