Job Description

Duracell is seeking an E&I plant technician as a member of a work team. E&I technician work teams are responsible for keeping production flowing, continuously update and train to increase their skills to meet our ever-changing production needs, meeting performance standards goals and maintaining the high level of quality in everything they do.

E&I technicians do various types of work, including but not limited to the following:

· Makes electrical repairs to run high-speed equipment

· Executes planned maintenance tasks

· Performs preventive/predictive maintenance on equipment

· Gets involved, takes charge of situations, and confronts business-related problems  

· Displays electrical skills in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated equipment

· Maintains accurate records and data

· Must be 18 years of age or older

· Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education

· Must have Electrical Technical School / Military equivalent or 2+ years Industrial electrical experience

· Must be Low Voltage qualified or have the ability to do so within first month of onboarding

· Need to have exposure to automated controls systems in a high-speed application

· Strong technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of PLC controls and computers

· Use basic hand and power tools

· Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders, and platforms

· Twist, turn and bend; and stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time
