Essential Requirements
- Must have the right to live and work in Ireland
- Trade-qualified Motor Vehicle Technician (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in automotive diagnostics
- Proven experience working with electric and hybrid vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- Experience with modern diagnostic systems and software
- Knowledge of premium automotive brands is an advantage

You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electric and hybrid vehicles, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and safety standards. The role requires a strong understanding of high-voltage systems, battery diagnostics, and modern vehicle electronics.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults in electric and hybrid vehicle systems
- Perform repairs on high-voltage batteries and electrical components
- Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance
- Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues
- Conduct safety checks in line with EV standards
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Stay up to date with evolving EV technologies
- Attend manufacturer-led and internal training programmes
Qualifications
- Trade certification in Motor Mechanics or equivalent
- High-voltage / EV certification (preferred)
- Strong understanding of vehicle electronics and CAN systems
- Experience with diagnostic platforms and fault-finding tools
- Ability to work independently and within a team
