Job Title:
[ELDP] Micro-Contamination Control Process Engineer
The Role:
This role focuses on advanced filter manufacturing technologies. You willbe responsible fordeveloping andmaintainingproduction processes, aligning equipment data and standards across sites, andestablishingrobust process flows for new filter lines. A key part of the role is creating SOPs and work instructions, then training production teams to ensure consistent, high-quality operations. Success requires openness to learning new sciences, mastering diverse assembly equipment, and driving continuous improvement in process capability.
In this role you will:
Identifyand enhance/develop processes for Filter manufacturing line.
Develop andmaintainstandard operating procedures, work instructions, routings, and safety reviews.
Work with senior engineers to manage key operating performance criteria, yield, performance analysis,FMEAand SPC controls.
Drive root cause analyses and corrective action plans through the six sigma tools, collaborating with quality, product engineering,manufacturingand sales/marketing.
Lead the technology transfer from new product development to manufacturing, ensuring manufacturing is readyin accordance withMarketing requirements.
Identifyand implement cycle time and yield enhancing activities.
Develop and maintain process documentation- operating procedures, test specs, test methods, component drawings.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
Bachelor’s degree or above inScience, Engineering, or related technical fields
Strong interest in semiconductor processes or clean technology
Must be able to travelglobally10%.
Proficient in English communication,Ability to speak Japanese is a plus.
Familiar with AutoCAD/Soliworkis aaplus.
Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving skills
