Position Title: Child Care Support Staff 1 (Student Position) Location: Big Rapids, MI Department:

Early Learning Center

Advertised Salary: $13.73-$13.99 Summary of Position: Working in a fast-paced environment with children ages 0 months-5 years, providing support to center staff in managing daily activities at the Early Learning Center. Position Requirements:

All employees are required to have DHHS Central Registry Clearance and an IChat criminal clearance. If hired must provide verification of negative TB testing and a health appraisal within the previous 6 months.

Upon hire employee must provide required medical verification forms, register and maintain certification on the MiRegistry database and complete on-boarding requirements, before contact with children can occur.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Duties include (under direct supervision):

• Assisting with daily routines and sanitation in all areas of the center, including all indoor and outdoor activities.
• Successful applicants will demonstrate dependability, initiative, sound judgment, and flexibility.
• Must be able to follow all safety and regulatory guidelines.
