This position reports to:

Sales Support Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and complete bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budget to achieve market competitiveness and high margins for the company. Each day, you will maintain and improve the balance between all ABB units and customers in your area of responsibility. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting and collating the information required to prepare proposals, including both technical and cost elements.

The work model for the role is #L-onsite

This role is contributing to ELDS in NAM. Main stakeholders are Sales and Marketing.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.
• Creating well-documented tenders in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
• Managing the preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
• Ensuring that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.

Qualifications for the role

• Ability to demonstrate your experience (2-5 years) in electrical schemes and commercial topics.
• Engineering professional with experience in Medium Voltage Switchgear (Control, Automation, and Communication) and in the Commercial area, with proven experience in quotations and pricing, including Pricing, Full Cost Model, Cash Flow, and Intercoms. .Mandatory requirement: Proven experience in preparing quotations.
• Experience with Gas-Insulated Medium Voltage Switchgear is highly desirable.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of electricity, automation, and mechanics.
• You are passionate about talking to other colleagues around the world and closing business in a demanding and dynamic market.
• Degree in engineering.
• You are at ease communicating in English and Spanish.
