The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation is responsible for the policies, legislation, regulations, programs, and services that enable Alberta’s agriculture and food sectors to flourish and contribute to Alberta’s economic recovery and growth. Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch (WIOB) is part of Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation and has the mandated responsibility to operate, maintain and keep safe a $12B portfolio of provincially owned water infrastructure. The Branch also includes the provincial Dam Safety Regulator, which is responsible for implementing the Dam and Canal Saftey Regulatory Framework.

The EIMS Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the systems and applications administered by the Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch (WIOB) remain fully operational, properly maintained, and aligned with user needs. This role supports the implementation, maintenance, administration, and ongoing user support of these applications, all delivered with a strong customer service focus.

Requirements
A post-secondary diploma (2 years) in computer systems, information technology, or a related field, plus four (4) years direct experience with computer application support and working in a computer application testing environment.
OR
A university degree (4 years) in computer systems, information technology, or a related field, plus two (2) years direct experience with computer application support and working in a computer application testing environment.
