Maintenance Engineer – Electrical, Instrumentation & ControlSupport critical energy infrastructure across AustraliaAbout the roleWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer – Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EI&C) to join our Fuels & Energy team based in Brisbane. In this role, you'll provide technical engineering support across maintenance, asset management and project activities, helping ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of fuel terminals and refining assets throughout Eastern Australia. You'll work closely with operational teams, subcontractors and clients to drive maintenance excellence and deliver engineering solutions across a range of critical infrastructure assets.What we offerWork with a leading provider of maintenance and engineering services in the energy sector.Opportunity to support major fuel and energy infrastructure assets across Australia.16 weeks paid primary parental leave.Complimentary salary continuance insurance.Discounted Medibank health insurance.+MoreKey ResponsibilitiesProvide technical Electrical, Instrumentation & Control engineering support to maintenance, asset management and project teams.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, electrical, hazardous area dossiers and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs and work packs/scopes of work.Coordinate troubleshooting activities and deliver practical engineering solutions to support terminal and refining operations.Support preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance programs while driving continuous improvement initiatives.Lead maintenance-driven projects and low-complexity capital projects from planning through to delivery and commissioning.Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including field crews, clients, and subcontractors, to achieve desired outcomes, demonstrating strong people management and stakeholder engagement skills across multidisciplinary teams and environments. About YouTertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.Experience in engineering, maintenance, commissioning or asset management within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or heavy industrial environments.Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, instrumentation and control systems, including industrial communications networks.Strong understanding of Australian engineering standards and electrical systems within hazardous area environments.Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with operational, engineering and client teams.
