For your awareness, IFF has announced its intention to sell its Food Ingredients Business to CVC Capital Partners. The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Food Ingredients business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to CVC Capital Partners. In applying for this position, you acknowledge your awareness that the position is a part of the Food Ingredients business unit and has been identified to transition to CVC Capital Partners.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems across the facility.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, instrumentation, and process equipment to minimize production downtime.
  • Support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), food safety, process safety, and quality initiatives through safe work practices.
  • Execute Lockout/Tagout/Tryout (LTT) procedures and other life-critical safety activities in production areas.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and support work order flow through the maintenance management system (MMIS).
  • Assist with planning, scoping, and scheduling maintenance work to improve equipment reliability.
  • Support equipment documentation updates, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) records.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • High School Diploma, GED, Maine HiSET, or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company procedures.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions, maintenance procedures, and work orders.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.

How You Would Stand Out

  • 1-3 years of electrical maintenance experience.
  • Associate degree or technical/trade school certification in Electrical Technology, Instrumentation, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, food, chemical, or industrial production environment.
