Job Title: E & I Foreman

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Foreman with a strong background in oil and gas skid installation and FAT commissioning. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on field experience, preferably within oil & gas environments, and will be responsible for supervising and coordinating E&I site activities to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project execution.

This role requires strong technical knowledge in electrical and instrumentation systems, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and a proactive approach to site supervision, team coordination, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate electrical and instrumentation work activities at the site.

• Ensure all E&I installations, maintenance, and testing are conducted safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications and standards.

• Plan, allocate, and monitor manpower, materials, and tools required for E&I works.

• Oversee installation, termination, calibration, loop checking, and testing of E&I equipment and systems.

• Interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation/control schematics.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards (IEC, NEC, ISA), and company procedures.

• Inspect completed work to verify quality and adherence to safety standards.

• Monitor and report daily work progress to the site engineer or construction manager.

• Ensure proper use of permit-to-work systems and adherence to site safety regulations.

• Coordinate with other site disciplines (mechanical, civil, operations) to avoid interface issues.

• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to technicians and subcontractors.

• Maintain accurate records including daily reports, inspection logs, and as-built drawings.

• Participate in commissioning, troubleshooting, and startup activities as required.

Requirements:

• 12th Grade (Higher Secondary Education) plus 3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of UAE or Gulf experience in the oil & gas sector, specifically in skid installation and FAT commissioning.

• Strong understanding of E&I systems, safety protocols, and permit-to-work procedures.

• Familiar with international standards such as IEC, NEC, ISA.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation.

• Proven team supervision and leadership skills.

• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary Range: AED 3,000 - 5,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
