We have multiple FIFO opportunities available for Electrical and Instrumentation Commissioning Technicians, working for a Tier 1 Mining Company.

• Approx 6 months
• Pilbara site

About the role:

Join our team and play a key role in commissioning a range of Instrumentation and Electrical Systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing commissioning documentation to track pre-commissioning and commissioning progress.
• Conducting load (wet) commissioning, running plants at full capacity.
• Calibrating and diagnosing faults in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems.
• Reading and interpreting Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Performing calibration and fault diagnosis on a variety of plant instrumentation such as transmitters, analysers, control valves, and switches.
• Following Blue and Red line mark-up procedures on wiring diagrams, P&IDs, panel drawings, single-line diagrams, and loop sheets.
• Managing and executing allocated project tasks efficiently.
• Conducting system walkdowns and capturing punch list items.
• Commissioning instruments such as ultrasonic, guided wave radar, mass flow meters, pressure transducers, RTDs, and more.
• Performing loop checks on Instrumentation Systems.
• Adhering to project budgets and schedules.

About You:

• Cert IV in Electrical - Instrumentation (desirable)
• Current WA Electrical License (unrestricted)
• Tier 1 Mining Experience
• E&I commissioning experience
• White Card
• Drivers License
