EHSQ Manager

Kewdale, Perth WA | Sandvik Ground Support

Are you an experienced EHSQ professional who enjoys combining strategic leadership with practical, hands-on support?

Sandvik Ground Support is seeking an EHSQ Manager to lead and continuously improve our environment, health, safety and quality systems at our Kewdale operation. Reporting to the EHSQ Manager APAC, you will work closely with operational leaders, department heads and site teams to strengthen our safety and quality culture, maintain regulatory and ISO compliance, and deliver meaningful improvements across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of EHSQ systems, policies and initiatives across the site.

• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and maintain systems aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, workplace inspections and compliance reviews, driving corrective actions where required.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and improvement initiatives to prevent reoccurrence.
• Oversee quality management activities, including non-conformances, customer complaints, audits and continuous improvement programs.
• Monitor, analyse and report EHSQ performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to leadership teams.
• Coach, mentor and develop leaders and employees through training, guidance and EHSQ best practice support.

What you’ll bring:

• A diploma-level qualification in workplace health, safety and quality, or relevant industry experience.
• Experience in an EHSQ, WHS or quality-focused role within manufacturing, mining, construction or a similar operational environment.
• Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, regulatory requirements and compliance obligations.
• Experience working with safety and integrated management systems.
• A strong understanding of quality management principles and systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and root cause analysis.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• The confidence to build effective relationships and positively influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, motivate and develop others.
• Competency using Microsoft Office and preparing and delivering presentations.

Highly regarded

• Lead Auditor or ICAM qualifications.
• Return-to-Work qualifications and experience.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Current Occupational First Aid Certificate.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, environmental management systems or quality-accredited organisations.
