EHS TECHNICIAN - 2DO TURNO (TK-ARECIBO)

Resumen
Bajo supervisión limitada, apoya la implementación de programas ambientales, de salud y seguridad. Responsable de completar las tareas de campo y labores administrativas, así como asegurar el cumplimiento regulatorio del programa de EHS, según sea necesario.

Funciones Esenciales:

  • Participar del proceso de investigación de accidentes, incluyendo implementación y seguimiento de las acciones correctivas.
  • Implementar los programas de ergonomía y realizar evaluaciones continuas.
  • Coordinar itinerario de adiestramientos de EHS de la planta.
  • Proveer los adiestramientos regulatorios a empleados regulares, temporeros y contratistas sobre los procedimientos establecidos por OSHA, EPA y Recursos Naturales, al igual que en las políticas de la empresa.
  • Realizar inspecciones continuas de seguridad en diferentes áreas de la planta y asegurar cumplimiento con las políticas y procedimientos de EHS establecidos. Notificar a la supervisión y/o gerencia en caso de incumplimiento.
  • Participar como miembro activo en los Comités de Seguridad, Emergencias de Respuesta Médicas y Ergonomía.
  • Apoyar los procesos de desalojo y manejo de emergencias de la planta, según sea necesario.
  • Observar y evaluar a los empleados durante las actividades de trabajo para identificar y/o determinar el equipo de protección personal que necesitan, así como otros equipos de seguridad para llevar a cabo sus tareas diarias.
  • Brindar apoyo en el establecimiento y revisión de las políticas y/o procedimientos de EHS, según requerido.
  • Adiestrar a los miembros del Comité de Seguridad en los programas de Behavior Base Safety, Comunicación de Riesgos, entre otros.
  • Brindar apoyo a las áreas de planta física y mantenimiento para el mejoramiento continuo de las instalaciones físicas.
  • Dirigir, documentar y analizar los programas de “Behavior Base Safety” y Seguridad.
  • Ejecutar otras tareas y proyectos, según requerido.
  • Mantener su área de trabajo limpia y ordenada.
  • Apoyar las iniciativas lean (5s, RIE’s, SQDIP, MDI, 9 step).
  • Cumplir con las políticas y procedimientos de la compañía incluyendo las relacionadas a EHS e ISO.

Requisitos Mínimos

  • Bachillerato en Ciencias Ambientales, Salud y Seguridad o relacionado.
  • Mínimo 3 años de experiencia en EHS
  • Destrezas de comunicación oral y escrita
  • Conocimiento en computadoras (MS Office)
  • Buenas relaciones interpersonales
  • Conocimiento en normas y regulaciones de EHS (OSHA, EPA, JCA, otros)
  • Destrezas de presentación
  • Bilingüe (Español e Inglés)
  • Certificación de adiestrador en montacargas y OSHA 30 horas, preferible
