  • Verify that contractors work to approved RAMS, safety documents, lift plans, and hot work assessments at the point of work.

What you will bring to the role

  • IOSH Managing Safely certification (essential); HNC, IEMA certificate, or Behavioural Safety Observer qualification (desirable).
  • Knowledge and experience of working at power stations or similar industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of key EHS legislation and its practical application on site.
  • Ability to identify incorrect working practices and confidently challenge teams to maintain standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build productive relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working on a 24-hour rota basis.
  • Excellent IT skills and experience working within business processes and document management systems.

Location

This is an on-site role based at our power station facility at Dinorwig in Llanberis. The position includes 24-hour site EHS supervision on a rota basis.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary with clear career progression opportunities within ENGIE's growing Renewables business.
  • A diverse range of missions across multiple projects, keeping your work stimulating and varied.
  • A friendly, supportive team environment where collaboration and mutual respect are valued.
