Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a EHS Supervisor. This position will be based at our facility in Greenwood, SC or Greenville, SC. We are offering relocation assistance for the position.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

This position provides environmental, health, safety and security leadership to the site. Individual is accountable for directing EHS activities at site including establishing EHS objectives and targets, internal reporting of EHS performance, ensures plant level EHS programs, policies, procedures and systems are developed, implemented and sustained to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulatory requirements and conformance with Eaton Corporation mandates. Position is also responsible to maintain site ISO/OSHAS certification along with supporting the creation of strong EHS culture that engages employees throughout the site.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Champions and leads projects designed to effectively drive improvements in our “Zero Incident Safety Culture” program(s) Drive and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site.
• Facilitate risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects. Work with leadership team to create targets and objectives based on key EHS risks.
• Partners with other functional support/engineering teams to ensure plant projects, changes, upgrades and modifications adhere to and meet the PROLaunch and MESH “Change Management” processes; assists Operational Excellence engineering team with building and grounds capital projects as required.
• Support the creation of EHS goals for the site manager and appropriate activity based goals for the leadership team, functional managers, and front-line supervisors to drive EHS culture, compliance, and results.
• Create and facilitates EHS engagement through the Safety Committee, safety related kaizen events, and weekly Gemba walks needed to accomplish the established targets and objectives for the year.
• Compiles and analyzes MESH data for capturing in Eaton’s Safety database to include corrective action tracking and MESH scoring; produces data for monthly balanced scorecard based on MESH corrective action completion and incident rates.
• Review plant environmental permits and ensures terms and conditions are understood and complied with, ensures required documentation is maintained and required regulatory reports are submitted to the respective agency, e.g., air discharge permits, storm water discharge permits, local waste water permits.
• Work with leadership team and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance of EHS local, state and federal regulations.
• Pursue third party recognition for programs that establish the site and Eaton’s EHS program as world class. Create training matrices to ensure that all training is defined and tracked to completion. Participate in the Corporate EHS assessment process.
